Take Me

Take me to the place where heaven and earth collide; to where life teems.
Take me where the ocean crashes into the land; where water leaves its mark.
Take me to my lover’s pasture, where he gives me his love, where he and I dwell as one.
Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you pasture your flock by day, where you stow them at night; for my desire is for you.
“Over yonder the river green, past oaken towers, lies a meadow. There I shall be, where it’s only you and I.
We’ll peak at stars of the northern sky, and listen to creation’s tune.
Let my voice fall on your ear and I will tell you where to go, for my heart has found you its great delight.”
