Let the waters rise. Let them fill this place. Let the darkness die in the light, drowning in mercy and grace. Sickness, you who set to steal, be set to suffocate in the sound of love's great sirens.
Let the waters rise. Let it thunder down from the heavens, cleansing the ground beneath it. The foundations of death crack and crumble at their touch. It chokes. Sorrow can no longer cry, nor fear scream, or pain groan. Confusion is poisoned with truth. Darkness can no longer hide.
Let the waters rise. Let the beast of old face his doom, to become the feast of life.
Let the waters rise. Let joy make its home in the earth, saturating it. Let it remake the DNA . Let it declare, "Father"! Let this place be new.
